Welcome to 4th Grade!

My name is Mrs. Vasquez and I will be your students fourth grade teacher this year. This will be my sixth year here at KLA and I am so excited to begin a brand new year with all your students. I will tell you a little bit about myself. Besides teaching, I love to go for walks and drink coffee. My favorite food is bbq ribs and french fries. I have a masters in education and have been teaching for a total of 19 years. This will be my 20th year as a teacher! I entered the field of education because I wanted to make a difference and teach students in a kind, and loving atmosphere. Being a teacher is such a great career because you get to see children grow and have aha moments when they are excited because they finally understood a standard. Let's make this a great year!
