My name is Mr. Kabalican and I would like to welcome all of you to KLA and to the 8th grade class. I will be teaching 8th grade Humanities and advising ASB. I am so excited to get to know all of you and to help facilitate your learning and understanding of history and language arts.

I graduated from college at Cal State San Bernardino with a Liberal Studies degree and then attended Chapman University for my teaching credential. I have a Clear Credential from San Diego State University in the area of Social Studies. This will be my 19th year teaching and my 11th year here at Keiller Leadership Academy.

I believe the foundation to academic success is for students to develop their reading and writing skills. Within the Amplify curriculum I plan to facilitate your learning through interactive lessons that emphasize these skills. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals as life-long learners.

The mission of KLA is to create leaders that will contribute to our society and I intend to help my students discover the potential leader within themselves. In my class, I expect students to respect the teacher and others, do all their classwork, participate in class frequently, work diligently in groups, complete all their homework, and most of all, convey an attitude that they are always striving for success.
