Hello KLA Family,

     I am Samantha Beasley, the 5th and 6th Grade Physical Education teacher here at KLA. I am a local teacher born and raised in San Diego and look forward to continuing my journey with the KLA family for the 2022-23 school year. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from San Diego State University and also played collegiate softball as an Aztec from 2007-2012. Once graduating I continued on to Italy to play Professional Softball, and then  shortly after receiving my Master's Degree in Education. I am passionate about San Diego and teaching kids from my own neighborhood. 

 

One main focus for my students is to help them learn, and establish personal fitness goals that assist with embracing moderate to vigorous physical activity. Learning new health and wellness concepts that guide students towards living a healthier life is what drives me as an educator.
