On February 17th, 2016, KLA teamed up with Rollin' From The Heart, a non-profit organization, to start an after-school skateboarding program.

The skating expo was a complete success with close to 20 professional skateboarder, skate/surf industry representatives from Brixton, Penny Boards, as well as Sector 9. RFTH donated a mini-skate park, 30 skateboards, 20 helmets, 20 pairs of elbow & knee pads. Brixton also donated 30 T-shirts, and 25 Brixton hats that the student received for their contribution to cleaning up various skate parks on the weekend.
The mentors from RFTH will visit once per month to ensure the students learn the value of kindness & compassion by connecting with the mentors through skateboarding. -
